About the Owner
Paloma studied architecture and graphic design at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Texas at Austin. After several years of working as a professional graphic designer in New York and Austin, Paloma decided to take a different-and sweeter-career path by enrolling in Le Cordon Bleu pastry arts program in London.
Upon graduation Paloma returned to Austin and began designing and decorating wedding and custom cakes at the historic Driskill Hotel.
In 2006, Paloma started Coco Paloma Desserts, focusing on creative and original wedding cake and specialty cake designs, as well as decorated cookies and assorted desserts. She thrives on helping clients articulate their sweetest dreams and then creating a dessert that surpasses all expectations. In addition to being featured in Brides Magazine, The Cake Blog, The Knot, and Martha Stewart Weddings, Coco Paloma Desserts was named Top Pastry Pro by Martha Stewart Weddings in 2014.
